Foam grippers allow handling of a wide range of products, cartons, sheets or pallets without re-adjustment or re-setting.

The Carbon design is uniquely light in weight - at least 2.5 times lighter than the lightest aluminium grippers on the market. The density of carbon/epoxy is 1600 kg/m3, compared to 2700 kg/m3 for aluminium and 7850 kg/m3 for steel.

About 20% less power consumption - Lightweight design allows integration using lighter robots and cobots - Customized design allows precise adjustment of suction force and vacuum pump power.

The light weight of these products makes assembly and disassembly operations easier for the operators. The accessories, such as foams are perfectly matched and the adhesive is formulated for ease of replacement.

Originating from aeronautical and space technologies, the carbon structure possesses a strength 8 times higher than aluminium and 6 times higher than steel designs. The tensile strength of carbon is 1600 MPa compared to 240 MPa for regular steels and 200 MPa for regular aluminums. The Young's Modulus of carbon/epoxy is near to AU4G aluminium (E=70 GPa).

The CarbonV.Gripper design is extremely compact - the thickness can be reduced to 8mm for grippers without valves and 14mm for a gripper with valves.
